I have an unplayable stuttering. Then I reinstall G27 drivers, restart the computer and the stuttering is gone (35-75 FPS). The problem is that I have to repeat this process every time I shut down the computer. (specs: Phenom II X2 955, 4GB, HD 6870)
Hmmm. I haven't tried this. Worth a try. I'll keep a watch on this thread. I unhooked my side monitors and can maintain a good frame rate now, but it still seems to stutter and is not smooth.
In my case it worked only with the latest G27 drivers. I'm using 4 monitors with softth (4600x1100) and the FPS is good.
