I meant that "finished" or "unfinished" is a label, "S397" or "official" is a label, version number is also a label... You suggest that the released content should be only at best possible quality, and I think thats true for official content, but for mods it is an utopia. I said that even official content is not always properly polished here, and thats why I followed with how a content having a certain "label" affects your perception of its quality. I also agree that rF2 can possibly look real well, despite it really having some visual stuff which hopefully could get much better. And yes it does depend a lot on how well the content is made. I had a discussion with one man who actually builds hardware for simracing, he is mostly using only AC. He said he heard about rF2 being great for this and that. But the very good question was - so why "no one" is using it ? I certainly don't think that it is only because it didn't aesthetically please someone... But of course lacks of graphics also makes its influence, how much of it is related to the way content is crafted, and how much of it is because software being short on some details deserves technical discussion which would also be massive offtopic here. Draging a bit back to the topic, people don't use something which doesn't offer them what they need, as simple as that, let it be not seeing some graphical feature, or going as big as not having a content which they want/need. It is just so terribly simple.
