Hey everybody, I don't know how to explain it in french. In english it will be even harder I hope you will see the problem with this screens : Screen 1 Screen 2 Screen 2 - Another view - No problem There is this strange thing far off sometimes. But not on all parts of a track. Mirage / heat mirage ?? Bug ?? But it looks like a bad mirage. The track doesn't appear "clear" / "clean" I tried HDR On / Off, Anisotropic filtering and other things but no change. i5-2500K / 6Go Ram / GTX 570 / Win 7 64Bits / 1920 x 1200. Can you see this problem too ? Thank you.
I don't know if mirage effects work yet, but I haven't noticed this "thing" you captured in your pics
I have this problem since the beginning of the beta. I have deleted some files in Userdata / log. But no change.
I think you are right it should have been the "mirage" effect or heat haze of the track - think there was a thread about that right at the beginning of the beta phase.
Why some people cannot see this thing ? No problem on ATI / AMD ? I have a Nvidia (GTX 570). Heat Haze effect (behind car) is great. But this "mirage effect" on the track is soooo bad. If you know how to disable it, thank you.
I`ve noticed this too in the last few builds. I think it is the mirage effect but it just needs more work done to it... Probably not very far up the list of things "to do" though. I don`t know how to disable it or even if it can be disabled.
i think it's just the "road reflection" option in graphic option. Put it off and it will disappeare. Zexav, enlève l'option graphique "road reflection" et ce "mirage" va disparaitre (et tu auras plus de fps).
They do work, but perhaps need some tweaks. But I think this is road reflections at a low angle, not the mirage effect.
Ok, then I guess it is the mirage effect. The temp and light must be set at an area where it's created... I guess this only happens with this track, or is it happening with an ISI one?
I don't know what that is but more importantly, HOW DID YOU LOSE THE Real Mirror while retaining the virtual mirror???? ;-)
Mmm... I`ll have to check this again but I rarely have HDR off and I`ve seen it quite a few times. Will check again though.
