Stockcar Tracks List

@machine some of the tracks are stockcars and indycars race venue.
One of the missing one for Indycar is the return of Gateway St Louis.
Does some know a version on RF1 to convert or RF2 ?

All my Machine tracks updated to have 1.0 grip in preparation for a release soon of something special. You will know when it comes.
Old versions of tracks with lower grip will be available soon on Steam. They are still available on Mega. See post 1 of this thread.

Totally different.
The new stockcars have pretty good default setups.
A few hints.
Tune your cambers to your driving style. Somewhere around 8-12 degrees F hotter on inside of tire. (Inside relative to track)
On shorter flat tracks, you could lower both track bars by 4 clicks. Helps them to drive off corner a bit better.
Thats about all I have done in our first half a dozen races.

Any update on that "something special" ?
It's the new stockcars and they are here.

All tracks on the list are designed to work with the New Stockcars 2018. All road courses should be good to go also.
Be aware of League Tracks. It fixes many issues on original ISI tracks. And fixes some things specific to Stockcar, like pace car speeds and a custom Pacecar.
Most tracks have some initial work towards good AI. But the mod itself currently has virtually no AI customisation.
The Stockcars was a project to get the cars to drive like the real Stockcars. It was a massive undertaking fixing the tyres.

This was suggested from another forum but I have not tested these adjustments. S397 did an amazing job with this car, just a shame that we can't get realistic AI to race offline.

have you enabled the StockCarRules plugin (full course yellows), bumped the AI settings to 110-115/50/25 (put this to closer to 40-50 for more pack racing), and verified your "CURNT Safety Car Thresh":1 in player.ini? I've had some fantastic races against AI, make sure you go for at least 20 minutes so you actually have to manage your tires

thanks for answering.

I am subscribed to "League Traks", but not seeing it in the files and not detecting it in the Mod Manager is when I have doubts.

So just by subscribing I should have it installed, even if it doesn't appear in the files?.

Make sure you also have the original tracks installed too. League Tracks is a collection of updates to the original tracks.

The AI in the new Stockcars is hopeless. Has not been worked on yet. This project was to bring the feel of the Stockcar up to where it needed to be. Ever since the release of SC_2015, the Stockcar racing community has dreamed to have the tyres fixed RIGHT. They are absolutely amazing now. Next, AI.

If you want to race AI, then Daytona and Talladega should be good. I race at 100%, and other settings at default. I keep AI to around 10, and turn off full course cautions as AI just ignore cautions.

Really love the overall driving feel of this new stock car so I have been testing against AI on some of the road courses. They behave much better than on ovals. They tend to tiptoe around the circuit, but that's okay because I do the same. These cars are definitely a handful!

Hi ,

WatkinsGlen setup for 2018 has got different camber settings at the front (-4.4/-1.6); probably due to "symetrical" setting disabled..

greets
Lars
