Reserved I will put all links to tracks in first post above. No links will be in the track threads themselves. Hopefully this makes it easier, only 1 thread needed to keep all stockcar tracks. It will make it easier for me to keep up with all the links. (Please leave specific track comments/issues in their respective linked threads) Leave comments for tracks in this thread Thanks for your support. And enjoy.
Las Vegas is now ready. See downloads in first post of this thread. Track thread on the forums here: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/las-vegas-motor-seedway.54107/ Please report any problems there. Added to the tracks collection on Steam
Glad to see you do this thread, a lot easier for all of us to get the tracks, can't wait to see you do Talladega, again.
Martinsville is now available on Steam. And I've been working on another which is very close. (In testing) Will get forum posts and alternative links at some time. I've been so busy in RL.
Bristol And Talladega released a few weeks back. See them on Steam. Talladega is a WIP, with many more objects to be added. Bristol was a quick conversion including totally new racing surface with different radius at each end of track as per real. And a much improved apron over my rF1 version. I needed both M'villle and Bristol for my league. (Since S397 were slow getting theirs out!) And various people have been screaming out for a replacement for the deformed Alabama. I have started on Daytona making it DX11 ready. There mill be no track or object improvements for DX11, just albedo/texture work on all my tracks. It will take a while, so be patient. 13 tracks at the moment. My later tracks were better, so will be less work.
I am mid way through Chicagoland, but it is on hold for a while till DX11 on the other tracks is done. If you want to test it, ask to be my friend on Steam. It is shared with my Steam friends. My Steam profile is here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/gazzari/ Todo: Chigacoland. Calderpark Thunderdome. Darlington. Initial upgrade to DX11 all tracks. Upgrade all tracks quality and objects to something closer to S397 standard. Oh, and redo Phoenix and Texas. Not much....
Dover updated. A small update, edited most remaining textures to DX11. Changed grip levels in corners only to slow the cars to a more reasonable speed. (Until the tyre model is fixed) Removed shadow caster from track surface and added a hidden shadow caster. So late afternoon shadows dont show where they should not. And also to remove weird shadowing on track surface. Update available on Steam, and updated track link in first post.
I have updated the links above. Should all be good now. Please post here if you find any dead links. Or you cannot download setups. I hope to update some setups soon.
Sorry to ask stupid question, and great work from the looks of this thread. But does these tracks have feeling in the tarmac? Like small bumps/dips etc? Just asking because sometimes mod tracks can be flat and i prefer tarmac with a little "character". Thank you.
For the most part, no. It's been a long process just to get the tracks in game. A couple more to go. That's something I want to do, but is a ways off.
