    A question, as object:

    Is there (will be there) a way to lock the Steering Wheel Range in the Settings-> Controls menu ?

    As i think that two kind of wheel exists, 270 and 900 degrees i'd like to avoid driver to set up Steering Wheel Range at 200° and steer lock ratio at 30 degrees

    I think that simulation feeling depends a lot from these parameteres....

    Thx..

    up, please.. an answer....:p

  4. What are you aiming at by locking those features? Just tick the "vehicle set" option in the controller menu and you are done! ;)

    I ask this for 'on line' race... not for a stand alone....

    A server option to do this.... :p

    It's unlikely for that to be given as a server option, especially when people are building their own wheels...

    Don't understand, I saw no connection from Steerin wheel axle and Wheel.

    I want say only that a real F1 car has 440 degrees of steering wheel lock and, well, assume that all driver has a g25/27 with 900 degrees (for the variuos 270 degrees steering wheel i resolve with and upgrade in upgrades list).

    I simply want (like, desire? :) ) that in my own F1 simulating championship on line all driver will have 440 degrees of steering wheel with a maximum of 16 degrees of steer lock range.... it wil be, for sure, more 'simulative' than choose 200 steering wheel degrees with 16 degree of steering lock range.... (F1 is not a kart... isn't it? :rolleyes:)

    What's so strange?

    Btw... it was question... a I asked for a little flag to will turn 'not suiteable' or 'suiteable' by server admin this kind of choosing in the garage option...

    If it's simply to realize, why not? :)

    Regards...

    440° for a wheel in F1? ... where did you see this?
    and steering lock is up to the driver even if in real race, they all do have almost the same!
    a special steering-range for Monaco is set, and only there!

    but, lock all what yo want, and I bet that at least one driver will ask why those restrictions!

    a "fair" range would be 230°, not more!!
    imho... ;)

    Totally agree here. No F1 Car in the world got about 400°, its just not working at those speeds. I remember it was something between 215 and 230. If you talk about the F3 cars of 66, well yes they got a bit more range. My opinion is to set up each car individual like f1-220, F3 66 - 580, Megane-600 and so on.

    In 0:28 -> 450º

    The only time I have seen that, usually it´s around 400º:

    In 1:35 -> 400º

    215, 230? No way.

    Thx :)

    but I don't want open a thread about the real steering range, I only want know if it is or will be possible to lock this parameter.

    This is a modding forum section and I made a 'appropriate' question I will expect any 'appropiate' answer about mod...

    Cheers

    :)
