Steering wheel hardness

We just ran an online session: Practice 10 min, Qualy 10 min and 45 min race. In practice and qualifying my steering wheel was nice and firm, but from the start of the race it was buttery soft. I did not make any changes to the setup.
What is the reason for this?
This is no fun!

Did you try to reset it? (You can map a button and do this on the fly)

 

Do you mean the FFB reset? No, I haven't tried that yet. Thank you

 

Tried "FFB reset", unfortunately no success.
Had to go to the garage with ESC, then the steering wheel was back.
"harder" again.
Still possible during practice, but not during qualifying or the race.
