    Hey guys.
Today i wanted to set my steering rate to Vehicle set.
I realized that it doesn't work.
I'm using a Logitech G27. Logitech Profiler set to 900° Steering rate.
"Allow that the game can change the settings." is enabled in the rFactor 2 Profile, of the Logitech Profiler, and in the Global settings.
If i set it to Vehicle set, ingame, it doesn't apply when i go on the Track.
The Eve F3 should have a Vehicle set Steering rate of 570°, but if i go on the Track, it is still at 900°

I'm running the Logitech Profiler as Admin.

    Please help.

    Regards

Mate, if the profiler is loaded before to open rF, and if the controller.ini lines

Start Hardware Event Monitor="1" // Whether to try starting up and using 3rd-party hardware API(s) for the ability to set/get properties like steering wheel range that aren't part of the standard DirectInput interface

    and

Range From Vehicle="1" // Whether the Steering Wheel Range is automatically set based on the vehicle's TurnsLockToLock parameter

I cant help you, because i have no idea about the unusual behaviour of your G27, sorry.

To summarize, check if the above lines are as in my exemple (both to "1") and be sure the profiler is up when rF2 is open.

Did you uninstall everything and re-install from scratch?

Please don't take this as insulting but, the game defaults to Vehicle Set (at least on mine), are you sure you're not turning it off?

    I didnt reinstall rF2 yet...
And yes, i'm sure i'm not turning it off :)

€dit: I realized, that i even can't change the range manually in rF2.
€dit: I solved the problem! I did run rF2 as Admin all the time, i disabled Admin now, and it works perfect :D
Thanks for the help anyway :)

I can confirm it works for Logitech wheels, but it does not for Fanatec wheels :(

Crosses fingers it will be fixed soon.
