I'm trying to use the Steam Road Trip special with the 5 Euro discount when you buy something over 30 Euro. Everything is listed correctly in the CART but as soon as I go to ''purchase for myself'' the 5 Euro discount disappears. Does somebody have an idea?
Is the 30eu total for multiple items or a single item over that price to get the discount? You're not the first this has happened to.
I think it's not for in game content in the rF2 shop. If you buy a game or normal DLC then you will get the 5€ discount. That's easy to check because you see the discount before check out.
multiple items over the price Ok, but it's weird that I can see the discount at first, makes no sense. But if it's somewhere written that the discount only applies to games and not content, then that's the answer ;(
I noticed the same, thought it might end up as credit in my wallet after completing the transaction but it didn't. Also, I couldn't pay directly with my card/PayPal, I had to transfer the amount into my wallet, then use that to buy the content. Not sure if that had an effect.
It was cheap enough with the discount, and got impatient trying to sort it... GT3 pack and track pack, I was keen to get the 911 on the ring...
I guess it really only works with games, not game content. If you choose a game it also appears in a different cart, not together with any selected game content... There should be a information about that, but that's the fault of steam. Edit: Now got an answer from the Steam Support:
