Shall do Spinelli. I've been a bit crook recently, so not on as much as I'd like. I'd noticed however, you had in your status "looking for a good time" or something similar... How'd you do that? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Steam Simracing group Steam Simracers, feel free to join this group I made http://steamcommunity.com/groups/spinsimracing
The arrow next to your name in the friends list box. You can select "offline", "away", "online", "looking to play", etc.
Sorry I must be retarded but there are several "SpinDoctor"s? Nevermind, I am in your group now so we are friends
Steamfriends... Next Car Game 50% off for the next 37 hours, nows the time to get that if you haven't already.
Not familiar with the workings of STEAM as I guess quite a few here are, can someone put up a post of how that works . Im a member through getting AC a year ago but don't understand the method.
A few games periodically go on sale through Steam itself, without the need to go elsewhere. In such cases all you must do is go to the game's storefront page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/228380/ (this link may be US store only, just search for the game in your steam.au perhaps?) These are good sites to check for prices: http://www.cheapshark.com/ http://www.steamgamesales.com/
If you are referring to purchasing? I'm not sure you are as you mentioned you have AC through there already, then Guimengo is correct. When you login, it will automatically display AU content and pricing. If you are referring to friends and groups, well you need to be running the Steam client(program as opposed to website). This might not be something you do right now as you can load AC without Steam. If the client is running, on any window in the bottom right hand corner is View Friends List The friends list is why we use this, it's really a simple chat/notification client that shows me if someone is online and if so if they are playing a game. In the friends window that pops up, there are two tabs, Friends and Groups. Click on groups and you can see the one you clicked on in Spinelli's post above, it will show how members who are online etc. The Friends tab is simple but you can: -Set Status like busy, looking for game etc and you can appear offline. -You can Add rFactor 2 as a non-steam game and rename it to show the server you are on, so it appears for me currently as: Matf1 - In Non-Steam game rFactor 2 - Join me at F3 Fanatics or Rookies. -Add people to categories, so they are segregated in your friends list -Send and receive messages in it's own popup window -Have group conversations Essentially, I've met a bunch of cool people and play with a few of them frequently, others a little less, but time zones and interests sometimes clash. If Steam is already running then, nothing to lose. If you only load it when needed, then you can become a member of the groups and say hi when you are bored. Click on + Add Friend at the bottom of the friends window, type in MatF1 and I'm the Swedish chef and send a friend request. That goes for anyone here. 15 Friends added so far and 0 dicks, pretty good ratio say I. ps. If you're ever feeling down, ask Ronnie about his basement. pss. Don't talk to avenger76 as he will make you cry by showing you pics of what you can never have. psss. Kevko, stop playing Star Trek and race me.
Added everyone so far in the thread and joined the group. My profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198119042199
