This is not a bug but a missing feature. I have modified a track to make use of the alternate grid (formation lap starts in pitlane). AIW has modified left right path and alt grid positions in pitlane. I have included the following lines inside the gdb file. In Devmode (build 660) it works perfect but in game they always start from the grid on the race track. Good news is that the AI has improved in the current unstable build. Transition from formation lap to race start is much better now.
