Image by Gplay SR4L Special Event: One lap shootout at Targa Florio with Lola T280 SR4L presents an (experimental) endurance event, situated in the mountains of Sicily, near Palermo. We will be racing our Lola T280 through the villages, mountain roads and open fields of what is called the Targa Florio. 1 lap to show your skills, your guts, your ambition to be the fastest around this +/- 40 minutes roadcourse. Race day information: Sunday 29th of december 18:00 Gmt 120 minutes practice 20:00 Gmt Main event (qualify) First driver will start 2 minutes into the session, then the rest, one by one, with 20 second interval. awesome Idea! I hope i will have the time to join the event. Did my first laps of the targe today...such an awesome experience! And the lola is perfect for it. What times are you guys looking at (why does the live-timing not work btw)? I did a low 35min with a few spins today...i think once you know the track, low 34s should be possible!?
The live timing or 'hotlaps' are not showing correctly for this track- normally it works fine- assuming you mean here: http://www.simracers4life.com/index...7e9d59008dc4a6ef0643;wwwRedirect;page=hotlaps ....but i have not done much for timed laps ive seen the 40 minute mark pass several times while on laps i never finished- so i expect 35 minutes is a good time -i dont know that you can ever really 'know' this place- but paying attention to the road marks or signage can help..... damage for the race is going to be set fairly low- so you can make the occasional error and not end your day......... hope to see you out johnny...nice vette
there must be some major bug! started at the back, got about 20 fps and big freezes. tried for the first kilometer or two, but couldn't even aim at any apex at all and it didn't get better....not playable like this.
