#SR4L Lola Fun Race Sebring 24hr time scaled

SR4L invite you to our Sunday night 24 hr time scaled race at Sebring

Members are getting itchy feet waiting for the up and coming F2 1960's series starting later this month and are looking to burn some rubber with you on Sunday evening.

The event is purely a Fun Race and is a 60 minute time scaled Event and is open to all interested ISI forum readers.

The race will start at a simulated 2pm and race into the evening. Making through the night will be your biggest challenge and as the sun comes up you'll feel inspired to make to the finish line.

Rules and Setting

You will need a button assigned for Headlights

Tyre wear normal
Fuel normal
Damage 50%
Time Scale x25
Auto Clutch only. No other assists

Great, it's going to be really interesting and demanding (carnage expected )!!!

clutch users, remember to be carefull not to stall engine after a spin, this car has no starter.

 

Good one! Bryan, can you tell us what time scale will be used? would love to do that race in single-player before that sunday.

 

You didn't read carefully enough:

 

I assume that auto-transmission is disabled? I like my Lolas with auto-transmission (do not like paddles for shifting).

Lets me concentrate on the important things...handling and pedals.

But Lolas in Sebring is FUN.

 

Thanks Abriel good to see someone reads my race info. I understand Karma now, in a former race league (Tyka) I never read post's, turned up on race days asking lots of questions and got screamed at by admin RTFN!! you can work it out ahh karma.

The 60 minute race will simulate a full day and night. While x24 would be perfect it's not an option so x25 will have to do.

 

Auto Clutch only, sorry.

In rF1 you could edit the PLR file to x24, while you couldn't set it ingame. If you changed it in the PLR, then in the game it would show correct, and work correct, until you changed it ingame again.

Don't know if it is the same for rF2 though

 

Would be nice if ISI added the x24 option (or even better, enable to set to a custom value in game).

 

One question, are the tempratures going to drop through the night and is there a possibility of rain?

 

Did you notice you can bump start it like a real car? If it hasnt stopped completely that is.

 

Yes, I remember I did it a couple of times with the F3s. Problem is that most of the times I've realised I've stalled is when I am already stopped.

 

No special weather setting will be used.

Where did you get them from? For me, the hotlap function doesn't work since about 3 weeks or so...

 

1h race, more than ever this will be a resistance race, such a challenging car.

 

I neeed to enter first to any of the 3 servers live timming, and there press the hotlaps link at the bottom
