When you join a server with a race in session you're slotted at the bottom of the timesheet separate from the active drivers. You are then told that you are waiting for an open session. I've noticed when I join some servers that are in an open session(practice or qual) that there are still people inactive in that same slot below the timesheet and are never made active drivers. How do you do that? And what is the purpose of it?
