[REL] South Shore International Circuit - Endurance Edition

South Shore Endurance Edition V1.30

This new version of South Shore Circuit adds all necessary elements for Endurance racing events and it's designed to meet Endurance Leagues requirements. Of course, nothing prevents to use it normal single player or multiplayer events as well. ;)

Please uninstall and delete any previous versions of this track before installing this version.

Rough changelog:
  • Added nighlights and nightlight structures to the track
  • Optimized road surface and terrain to behave correctly under night lights
  • Fixed few minor bugs here and there, which were present in South Shore V1.0
  • Added new loading screens and track icons
  • Rebuilded pitlane configuration. Now both layouts contains 36 separate teams, which all have individual garage- and pitspots (1 car teams, 36 garages, 36 pitspots). This will reduce event organizers work and simplifies many things on bigger events.

EDIT: The track is now available from Launcher as well (Box - icon => Remote Content)

Well i guess i'm off to Helsinki tonight.......driving into the night :o;)

Downloaded and installed v1.30. in game it still says v1.0 am i doing something wrong here? or little bug......no need to say uninstall old version....done that been there

It is but he created the elevation changes that completely change the nature of the track

That is interesting...

Please check following:

In your rF2 userdata path, like C:\User\YourProfileName\Documents\rFactor2\Installed\Locations, you should find folder named "South Shore Circuit - Endurance Edition". Is there any other forders, where name "South Shore " exist?

If there is another South Shore, delete that other folder so there are only "South Shore Circuit - Endurance Edition" - folder left. Then launch rF2 and check if you can find and load correct South Shore version.

Please report back in any case, if this solves your problem or not.

I'm suspecting that something went wrong (and most likely you didn't do anything wrong) when you uninstall and delete old South Shore in Launcher content manager.

Hehe, yes it is. :)

But if you are refering that track is not getting completely dark when the sun has landed, its moon which shines strongly (and maybe little bit too strongly). There is nothing what I can do about it (as a track builder) at the moment.

Have you tried to change the date in gdb file?

Downloading now! It's always nice to see when modders support their project for longer than a week or so. Thank you very much.

Jka yep there was an other South Shore folder next to the Endurance Edition folder. Deleted that one manually and then in game there was version1.30

Still don't know what has gone wrong with deleting the old v1.0 but......all okay now
 
Good to hear, Eddy :)

You most likely run into very rare bug in the Launcher..

This bug is now reported to the devs.
