sort online servers by ping?

is it possible to sort the server list for multiplayer games by ping?

Would be handy when trying to find a good server to connect to.

 

I would like this as well.

 

by ping and by country... that would be great.

Multiplayer screen is a problem. Lot of time wasted every night. Im an occasional driver, just a couple of hours a week some nights. For me its a nightmare to join servers jut to find somebody is hosting a Spa race AT NIGHT for the 60s cars, or try to find a friend on a server.

The old VROC from GPL was a lot more usefull. The RF1 multiplayer screen was almost unusefull to join public races and was one of the things that hold me out to try to race.

I think a good multiplayer screen should include, max, min and avg ping, loss and race options like, weather/day time, season remaining time, player's name and car, and a (the most importante) filter to be able to see just the servers hosting the MOD you are unsing. It become really tedious in the past to see a list of more than 1000 servers hosting MODs you really don't care.

Shooting games had this kind of filters from long time ago.

 

I agree with this. More info about the servers in the list (not just after clicked on) I hope will be added down the line.

 

Jeez do some people even the read the "know issues" text file?

personally i would think a known issues file would have things like glitches and so forth... as we were asking for a feature please do your best to excuse us.... and sorry for getting in your way, Lord

 

there is NO info of race details like race length, virtual starting time, weather, tyres and fuel use etc .... - nor in matchmaker screen, nor in the monitor before the race acutally starts.

more filters in matchmakers like ping and country, preferred/installed mods should be added soon

 

It would be nice that the game would eremember how we sort the lobby. By players right now.

Sorting by ping, number of players, mods & tracks etc... Add to favorites.
