Note on this updated forum: you can click Reply, and people will get notified of your response and we can see who/what you're replying to. You can do this multiple times and post all responses in a single post, which is also less confusing. (*edit: I see you've got this now)

Many of us spent many hours in, and supporting, the game. We don't get prizes for it.

At the moment i see rFactor for £12.89.

My only bugbear is that im only running a gamepad right now.

The pad on GT Legends and GTR 2, plus Power and glory is running very acceptable for me at the moment. Ive really dialled down the steering ratio, got my gamepad force feedback working top notch, and im pretty darn quick right now on the pad. Playstation 2 pad that is.

If thats the case, do you think rFactor 2 will run in the same manner??

Its the force feedback im more interested in.

Ive managed to really get a good thump from both left and right motors on the playstation pad, and i can almost feel the force feedback, as good as the G25 ever did. Really loving it right now.

I imagine there are SOME gamepad users, I expect most to be faster than me, but we rarely see posts here about FFB and gamepads. Last ones I can remember were Xbox gamepads only having partial ffb. So, sorry I can't be of more help. Hopefully another will chime in. Now, if you wanted info about 2 to 3 thousand $$ wheels, there would be LOTS of help! ;)

RF2 is fine with the pad, the control system works the same way of RF1 and GTR 2. I don't know if these days there is a working vibration for the pad. With the xbox 360 pad I use this driver here:
    https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/how-to-enable-the-controller-vibration-in-rfactor-2.22341/
I'm the uploader, it's safe. This driver gives you the controller vibration also in RF1 and GTR 2, that don't have it.
In the comments you can find the description on how to get it working for the playstation pad. Click on reviews.

At the end of the day, a lifetime license, is a lifetime license.

Theres no community. This forum is dead. I dont any response from any of my emails.

That pretty much sums up the respect you get for paying full price.

Its not my fault. I didnt miss any god damn window, because i didnt realise in the first place. Its a bit of joke.

I dont think i'll be buying it again out of principle.

Steam can stuff rF2 where the sun dont shine. Laters all and thanks for the help

@Pluginz I thought we made it fairly clear that would be the case. Your right entirely to walk away - heck, you haven't played it for 8 years already, not like you'll miss it.

PS Thanks for the 'no community, forum is dead' dig. Love you too.

Did someone not have their coffee this morning?

It went from "$5 is a breeze" to this?

Yeah... a forum with new posts everyday = dead.

  17. Uhm ... I did not notice that I stopped breathing, but if it is been a while ago I just know where the smell comes from ... ;-)

Sorry - I have not read the whole thread, but I think this forum is not dead at all - the opposite. It seems it has become a little more alive from devs side.

I had to stop drinking it. It was giving me headaches !
Yes, i did change my mind. I suppose thats not very good really, and im going to blame it on watching youtube videos of rF2. Its put me off even more.
I do appreciate you guys replying to me, and the humour is more than welcome.

Im just abit pissed off how things have changed and left me in the 'lurch'

If i could honestly get a good offline experience again playing with a pad, i might just think about paying again, but to be honest, im so confused as to whats going to be available for me as an offline player without downloading a ton of mods or paying extra to run anything. That, i do not want.

I wish i had kept all my old files and old installers. I wouldnt be here now moaning like some bitter old man :)

The fact that i havnt had any response from anyone for £60, regardless of who did what and where the company went, thats just my fault.

You guys are the only ones who have responded and i deeply respect you lot for that.

Lets boil the kettle and see if a coffee sorts me out. I may change my mind again haha
