My friend will be buying rfactor 2 soon. I want to be able to set up a dedicated server but really don't have a clue. Using my PC as a host how do i set it all up. I know this asking alot but some help would be great!
This is how I got it to work: Open ports 54297, 54397 and 44297 Run the launcher and press "Host" Set all the required options then start that it running. It should be there in the server list when you try and join from another PC.
Could someone please check the server im hosting is connectable. Server : F1@Poznan Marussia version 1.42 Cheers!
"Mod download failed" I guess you have to foward port for downloads. And there was something in the multiplayer.ini where you could enable downloads. There are lots of threads for hosting in the "hosting help" section.
Also make sure in your firewall that rfactor 2 is on public setting, mine was on private only by default.
