...and I came across one where some group was complaining about there not being enough "trigender" roles in Hollywood (or somesuch)... [Don't worry, this won't offend anyone...I don't think... ;D ....] ...and I laughed as I often do and thought to myself: "Well they just need to get out more. Maybe try some sim-racing...". And then I realize a lot of you may never have noticed this little bit of ISI humor at all (you'll find it in rFactor 1 as well): Go to Mills and drive down pitlane past the pedestrian bridge and look up to your left...and you'll find this little gem: Of course you have to be a sim-racer to really "get" the full joke too (look carefully at the sign, top left, and think about it if you are struggling at all). CS
I don't know whether to be disappointed that during all my thousands of laps at Mills I never noticed that, or try and take it as a positive sign that I was so focused on improving my lines and racecraft that I paid no attention to that sign. I'm going to cling to the latter...
Challenge accepted ! I remember in an old V8 super cars game that there was a babe in lingerie in one of the garages , certainly made pit stops interesting .
I remember seeing the alien toilet sign ages ago (another thread), doesn't palm beach have a funny sign or something? Also Toban has something on a water tower I think.
Great find lol. There is something at Toban, it's a podium and it says something like 'the best...the rest'.
Easter Eggs are something of a tradition even for mods/tracks and other add-ons too, and not just original developers: Back in the GPL days the guy* who authored Solitude (one of the earliest new circuits then) had his famous "pink trees"...and if you wandered off track in the esses you could drive down and find the "pot shop." I believe the Beatles were spotted lurking around at one of his later circuits (Clermont-Ferrand). [*Martijn, aka "Taffer," IIRC] I know I posted about this one [Restrooms] back at the old ISI forums when I first found it maybe...nine years ago now? --- BTW, I haven't actually driven Mills in rF2 (unless you count pitlane), but I did notice the reverse layouts are no longer available. Or am I wrong?
I'll have to check that out over at Birtwell's F3 Fanatics server...provided I can get close enough to it to see. Maybe need a "virtual Binoculars" upgrade for that. [Update: "green serpent" was right ^^^]:
I'm not sure which rF1 mod, I have a feeling it was TCL (Touring Car Legends) but I bet he has a beer between his legs.
