first post has been updated with the new build 0.83
revised halo and fuel door have been added... we can say the look of the cars is now the final one also if FIA last week added another TPMS antenna, but it is mounted inside the nose and not visible.
The template has been updated as well and should be the final one too.
We continue working on lods, on merging meshes and textures to decrease the total number, on AO and shadows for the whole optimization of the model, etc... but I think we'll release soon a new build to bring to you the updates on graphics side.

We can say that Gilles finished the development of the 3d, all skins has been updated and now I'd like to update also the whole pack of icons... I hope next week the new build will be released. Gilles is still working on the first step of the optimization, generating tens and tens of new meshes decreasing poly and also merging tens of textures into a single big one. Later we'll must re-organize the structure of the mod to improve performances on low PCs and also for having a better look of the mod itself... long job we'll do with calm because you can anjoy the mod as well.
First post has been updated for the release of the build 0.84:

22 months later we can add "THE END" words to the development of the FIA Formula 3 mod, thanks to the great efforts and the hard work made by few mates in love with the concepts that led us in this free project. You know us, so "the end" words could be not appropriate, because we'll follow the future of the Formula 3 in the incoming months.
Main changes to this final build 1.0 are:
- full restructuring of the whole mod merging dds files, several meshes, improving lods, etc.
- several 3d updates
- added Mugello gear config, due to the FIA specifications released few days ago
- a couple of updated skin
- improved look of texts into dash
- greatly improved transparent halo look
Once again enjoy the mods!

just happen to look at it on showroom and saw that the reflect of car seems have some problem (mainly about LOD reflect I think(
you can look at the pics, from the front angle the rear wing is missing on the reflect under the car, from the rear the front is missing. Small problem, just happen to look it on showroom and it's not important, but if you have time plz take a look,
Sincerely I'm not able to see what should be missed!! In case it is something to be fixed in the showroom by S397.
yep, maybe, you can look at the front wing reflect under the car in the pics to see the difference, but it's ok, it's not a big problem, just happen to see that....I guess it maybe the lod in the gen which used in showroom, you can look and check, but if nothing wrong, it's OK to just let it be, might be 397's problem or some. it's not a big problem and have no infulence
As I said, in case it is a S397 problem in the showroom, like flashes, etc etc... and here the rear wing...
EDIT: let me explain a little better... since the beginning LODOUT for showroom was fixed to 99 meters... maybe they suddenly changes something, anyway I'll check "numbers"

I would say that it definitly is caused by the Showroom itself or the Games Code for Reflections.
Look at the below Screenshots, where the Lights, depending on the View Angle, are reflected on the Floor or not reflected.

Definitely a MUST HAVE mod and the best junior formula car available in rF2, besides the S397 content Thanks a lot for your hard work and the love to even small details and continous adjustments and comparisons to the real car.
A big thank you for this mod! It has everything we were looking for, such as:
Physics that seem very legit
Fast enough for the use of F1 tracks
Setup changes that correlate with feel and data of the car
Able to race close to eachother
I even put in a serious effort to make a livery, as I think we'll be racing this car for some time.
Like Raymond above, loving this car, its a perfect fit for PrestoGP.
I'm not very good with Photoshop or anything like that so this has taken me a while and its still not great but its my version of the Red Bull camo livery they used a few years back in testing.
Is Red Bull gonna adopt Aston's Grello? Think what that cammo skin would look like if all the black, or white, were GRELLO! Now that I think of it...to match the current Aston GTE liveries....the Black should be British Racing Green and the White, .... ... GRELLO!
Guys, we are really happy to see the attention community is deserving to the mod: the best reward to our job!
And sad to see that, after more than 5 years I added the annoying bug to the ISI and then to S397 list, that shows only the first compound listed into the cockpitinfo.ini in the showroom of the retail version (in this case the rain compound) and not what the modder wants, still not yet fixed...
And it takes no more than 10 seconds to the coder...
so the select compound show in showroom parameter (SpinnerCompound) not working..?
