    And here's a suggestion for the visual,seems the spec of the PBR body is too strong too shiny that even in the cockpit it can reflect the road, hope you can reduce a little of clearcoatspec of PBR setting. Or reduce a little spec in ao spec map

    I can agree, but I'm tired to change values in json for PBR, because is not only a simple change that can last in the time... I can say that every week I get a new build where the whole scenario changes because at S397 are still working on it to improve new release of mods and tracks... Sometime they bring good enhancements to the scene, sometime everything seems burn...
    The most of the cars have their specific json and it is a long job for something that we have no guarantee to be kept in the future...

    This car (and #22 too), for instance has chrome cockpit and around and it must shine a lot... but, as I said, I agree with you that currently values should be less... BUT for how many days they will last?

    A very easy test is to look at stickers in the dark side of the car on track... comparing different builds we have the same car showing stickers or "nothing", same car, LOL. You mates get only the public builds, maybe you notice it less than me, but it happens as well.

    Thanks for the good job. If simply reduce the ao spec map's transparency value without changing PBR values seems can help and I believe there's no too many ao map of the body and I agree with you the game is still in dev and...... Change a lot. But if simply reduce the transparency can help it would be not too painful. Hope you can take a try if it doesn't need too much time without changing PBR values. Thanks and hope this mod become perfect.

    I also spent long time in balancing any other part of the car that uses "traditional" shaders to have same level of reflection for similar items (for instance the look of the "transparent part of the halo when not transparent" vs the rest of the halo... no other mods have the same effect/result) and any modification means to remake everything. Now on, on my side, the json and shader values I created are my standard for this kind of cars. I'm not saying they are perfect, everything can be improved but the effort will be vanished with a new build of rF2.

    For a free mod I think that what we (SMMG) have done is enough.

    Due to the Covid, a couple of months ago Dallara and FIA stated that the car will last by the end of 2023 and not 2021 with only few monthly modifications. I regularly receive the updated manuals and I check if something can affect rF2 physics and / or graphics to update the mod... for the rest I planned to update liveries to the 2021 season and I hope to release the "2019 season update" in January 2021.

    Leonardo just finished to paint all 2019 helmets... I would say each of them is a masterpiece! But all of you will can appreciate the 2019 Season very soon, I must only release it.

    Build 1.28, that changes name into "SMMG Formula 3 Series", 2019 and 2020 Seasons each one with its specific features!

    And which better surround than the Città di Roma, another masterpiece!, to look at few shot?

    Back when we were working on the SCC mod for GTR2, I always wanted faces to at least match ethnicity. At least for those drivers that had the visor flipped up, I dreamed for Asian eyes or Mexican brown faces for example, to add that little bit more to each driver. Didn't get done....:) Keep up your superb!!!! efforts.

    I tested yesterday the new version and found an issue with skins. I didn't remember what car I loaded, Red Bull skin I think. I see granulated skin

    Unfortunately, due to the rF2 poor code for rain effects, helmets that allow rain drops cannot have the semitransparent visor, because the alpha channel works for rain.
    Chris (@Brack Jabham) painted the faces of several drivers time ago, but for the reason I explained, no way to see them.

    Just one quick note. I noticed that the onboard and outside sounds are not really matching. As example, I am in the limiter in 4th gear around 8400rpm. But from the outside it sounds more like midrange rpm around 3000-4000rpm. I am not sure if it was the same with the previous version. I tested with one 2019 and one 2020 car. I can upload a short yt video if you like. Cheers

    I cannot replicate any problem with skins. If you can post a screenshot, it would be useful, also to know the season (2019 or 2020) and then the car, but please look at your graphics settings in advance, because time ago another mate posted for a similar problem, that happens if graphics settings are very low

    I was lazy on that also because in several years (sounds are obviously same of GP3 = same engine) nobody complained. In effect Nicola Acciarri years ago already tuned the EngRPMPowerOutside and EngRPMCoastOutside for the same reason, but I never changed the sfx...
    Maybe it's time to look at it... LOL

    Maybe can it be related to the track too... I have a similar problem when I tried with an old track I did. Which track was used when this happened?
