First post has been updated and the build 1.0 is now available: enjoy the mod!
Wow!!! thank you very much mate
Precisely passed here to comment on the Rallycross tracks. To leave the thread clean for the Skoda, just around resting days I will open a thread to publish my progress in a corresponding place.
I will delay my departure to see how the skoda behaves (I hope my wife understands it)
Marco, I went out for a walk and now I have to hurry back home Thanks for sharing your work.
Reading Steam comments, there are guys that are getting CTD loading the mod ("main.cpp 343: onFatalError 11").
The big problem is that here everything works correctly... I also loaded the one of the oldest ISI tracks, never updated, "Lost Valley" and it is okay, same into many other tracks I tried, both Gravel and Tarmac... same for opt-out and RC build... both devmode and retail
If I cannot replicate the error, really I have no chances to fix it: I'll continue to investigate
Sorry to say, not working for me too. CTD at end of loading.
PC specs in my profile.
There seems to be problems with AMD latest drivers
I get CTD with laguna seca track for example
I will try your car this weekend
Working for me both tarmac and gravel on spa track
I really wonder if Ctd people are getting basically comes from track issue with AMD drivers so actually your car is just fine
Loads properly for me too (S397 Spa).
I don't use a Beta and have a NVidia Graphics Card.
Maybe it's really an AMD Problem or does someone with a NVidia Card has a CTD with the Skoda?
We now need some proper RX tracks!
I have an AMD GPU so its not that I believe as working fine for me
Finally got to try this car now.
nVidia 3080ti, CTD - no error message.
EDIT: Did some testing - I never get it to load on Faleyras or Karelia Cross. It always loads at Blackwood. Only loads Goodwood if it is the first thing I do in the game. Faleyras and Karelia loads with other cars.
I never get any errors though.
EDIT2: This made me dig up my old rF1 install with the old Gr.B and RWD RX mods, and all the classic RX tracks, Lydden, Lyngås, Valkenswaard, Duivelsberg, Glosso, Estering, Lousada <3
Could you please upload a trace File from a Session where you get a CTD with the Skoda?
I'll activate tracelogging and do it at a point during the weekend
@redapg @Slow Motion
Some tracefiles. Old tracks failing, new track failing, and random track that loads.
All tracks work with other cars, just the Skoda S2000 that are struggling.
Thanks for the trace Files, unfortunately 3 of them end with the most useless Error Message that we have:
Can you post the Links to the Karelia and Faleyras Tracks that you use, that i can test it with these too?
EDIT I forgot to ask: does it crash with the Tarmac and also with the Gravel Car?
@redapg @Myrvold able to reproduce the CTD here, loading Sebring full layout and one of the Skoda cars with default options. Changing the damage option to 'Detachable parts' (instead of scratches) allows it to load.
*Edit: Same in devmode, that tuning option determines CTD or not. I have the RC selected in betas. Trace files show no differences between CTD and no CTD, only minor shader messages (skipped due to duplicate, etc... seem to change on each load regardless)
Thanks for Testing, saves my Time.
We will fix it as quick as possible.
Seems to be a bit more complicated.
To have it compareable with @Lazza, i also used Sebring Full in DevMode.
And i was opted out from all Betas (None).
Result: the Car loads no matter which Upgrade is selected.
Then i opted in the RC and let it install a complete new DevMode too.
Result: The Car doesn't load, neither with the Scratchable, nor with the Detachable Option selected.
And there are no useful trace Entries.
I have found 2 minor Things, but they aren't the Problem.
I'll keep investigating
After some more Testing, i have found a Way to get it working, BUT that Solution makes no Sense at all.
It seems as if there is something corrupted in the RC, because it works like it ever worked in the default Build.
So we'll wait with a Fix until......
You should post on the Steam page and tell ppl to select the detachable parts option AND force setup. Then it will work with AI cars too.
