Every time you open the launcher, steam seems to be checking for updates in the workshop. Apparently this process is taking longer every day. While it takes place no info about its progress is prompted. In some cases the problem is simply that it takes quite long to update. In other cases nothing seems to be happening after too long forcing to kill the task. Yesterday, one of our drivers couldn't compete for this reason. I wish we would just skip this updates.
