    This skin:
DDS, dxt5, 12 mipmaps (just like the original "red" GTR1, number 02), placed in my \UserData\player\Settings\NissanGTR folder

    appears ingame like this:

The skin seems to be pasted onto the windscreen, and at the front there is some strange area I can't discover on the template.

    Can someone help? :(

Try saving it with only 6 mipmaps?

It's what I've been doing with my GTR-skins and they don't come up like that.

I have exactly the same issue, but some of my fellows don't. It's not my skin as any skin does this on my system within rF2, whether I have created it or not... my skin has been tested on another system and it works fine too.

I have just reinstalled rF2 and had the meganne installed only... everything on default settings... applied the ALT skin and there it was again, repeated in the windshield.

I really would like to get to the bottom of this 'repeated/overlayed skin on the windshield' problem though.

Do the Dev's have any clues please?

Can you try to use the second car instead of the first?
So name the file M2009_02ALT.dds instead of M2009_01ALT.dds.

Then test it again, using the second Megane instead of the first one. Thats what worked with a few others as well.

I think it has something to do with the pre-supplied window files in the Meganes series. Only the M2009_01 has dedicated windows supplied, and as far as I have seen now, only that first car has these issues. Not sure about it though, as I am no developer here ;)
