As per the title the single player mode is not launching anymore. I have reinstalled the game as well as I have reinstalled all the runtimes as per the suggestion on another thread. It's frustrating because it's been now 2 months that I can't play the game. Also, how do you start playing when joining a multiplayer game? I can't race when I'm in the game. Thanks
In the other thead the suggestion was to move & rename or delete the rfactor2/user data folder. Not to reinstall the game. The reinstallation the game doesn't touch your userdata folder.
Thanks for the tips, and effectively it works, and I can launch single player races. Unfortunately my Fanatic CSW 2.5 and pedals are no longer recognised by the game, and so is my motion platform. This game feels like a black hole and it's the only one across all my racing sims that is constantly presenting an issue. I had the game for almost 9 months now and I've only been able to play a couple of hours, while I'm raking hundreds of hours on AC, ACC and iRacing. It's so frustrating. What is even more frustrating is that I've a request for support to the studio... at the beginning of the summer. I'm still waiting for a reply.
Hello, Upping this thread as I'm still facing the same issue. The game is still not launching. I've deleted the user data folder, removed all the workshop content, and uninstalled/re-installed the game, the issue remains. I can not launch the game. Thank you Damien
