Simhub integration question

Just a wild idea I have..and I'm not knowledgeable enough therefore my question.
Is it somehow possible to project a simhub dash stream to a defined surface in RF2, like on the steering wheel lcd screen.
Would solve a lot of limitations we now have in VR with some dashes.
 
I don't think you could assign it to the actual wheel in rF2, you could overlay the location of the wheel but that would not allow the kind of interactivity I think you are looking for. That may require the sim being coded specifically for VR and having a similar type of overlay actually part of the game, not something from the outside merely sharing the same screen real-estate.

VR overlays are possible indeed, but I was more thinking in the direction of the billboards or like the mirror surfaces.
Instead of projecting a camera, projecting stream data.
Probably a wild and impossible idea, but would be awesome to have.
