I used to be able to mod rf1 and edit files with np. in rf2 i cant figure out what files are where. i`ve installed these files in the folder called packages: AllCarsTrackOnline.rfmod ISI1032-v10-RenaultMeganeTrophy.rfmod ISI1044-v10-FormulaRenault35s.rfmod ISI1044-v10-v11-FormulaRenault35s.rfmod ISI1045-v10-1960sWorldClassRacing.rfmod ISI1050-v10-GTWorldEndurance.rfmod Megane_at_SearspointRW_v10.rfmod thru v213.rfmod then are these files in updates folder: AllCarsTrackOnline.rfmod ISI1050-v10-GTWorldEndurance.rfmod rF2_v1029-v1042_60-69.exe rF2_v1040-v1042_68-69.exe i have 7 track folders, is that correct with searspoint being the only track i have added? the reason i ask is my rf2 folder is now (6,446,987,844 bytes) basicly alittle over 6 gigs. this is only in beta i know but imo this going to take a rather larger hd to hold all the mods if rf2 grows like rf1 did. Is my folder size about right for what the rest of the non modders have? without downloading and trying to figure out how to make "virgin" sim folder to compare what has been added to where. is there a list of what folders contain what files? while all the updates to the game work i had to manually download and install. the install update tab didnt see any of the latest updates or the gt1 mod.
when you install the mod it installs all files into the "installed" folder. After that you can delete the rfmod and/or rfcomp files from the packages folder to free up discspace.
