There is a bug in the Silverstone GT AIW file. The AI cars are unable to enter the garage locations when returning to pit in practice session. They stay on the pit spots until the session ends. The cars of the same pit group can not enter the pits, because the pit spots are blocked by team mates and run out of fuel. I have loaded the track in sdk660, changed nothing and saved the AIW file. Looks like the track has 12 more waypoints now, but it works. Please update this track.
Has been reported but gets ignored. Better release some more new content instead of hotfixing the existing! ;(
I would bet you it has not been ignored. Probably waiting until they do their next pass over Silverstone when they update it. Build up a decent list of things to do and then execute them at once. Either that or the dev team will spend their time constantly popping in and out of each track, fixing, retesting, packing and then releasing new version after new version to fix each bug immediately...
The way the current mod updating system works, ISI will not release new track version for every small fix. It would be nightmare to have 10 different Silverstone versions installed for different leagues.
The Update file 1.5Mb in size. The original contend is untouched by the update. I don't see any problems with online racing as long as the admins don't put the update file in the rfmod's.
The entire team, car and tracks, it's working hard on multiple contents for a huge amount of time so, please, just be patient. We can't jump between stuff in the middle of developing chains. Everything we do, needs multiple tests before the release, and tests are linked to developing schedules. We can't just make a change in a file and then release. Furthermore, we usually collect a series of small bugs and fix&tune stuff and then work everything in a row. This avoid multiple releases and bouncing between projects all the time.
Understood. Here is the next. The pit main path is to far to the left. Most cars hit the curbstones when leaving the garage. The International layout is ok.
