I'm hoping I can get this ball rolling a bit. Could be quite fun.

Disclaimer: I'm doing this for purely selfish reasons:
    I. Need. Inspiration.

For what you say? Sim racing setups/rigs/what ever you wanna call it.
I want to see where you race, and with what, how you've set it all up.
From full-on rigs, all the way down to the most basic desk setups.
I'm looking to make some changes in the near future, and I'd love to see how you're set up for sim racing at home. :)

The concept is simple. Post one or more pictures of your sim racing throne.
Attach a few words. Or don't. I'll go first:

tried to move it earlier but it weighs close to half a ton!

    whole platform inclines & declines ( brake accelerate & track inclines/declines )
    rear traction loss
on top of all that is a conventional type seat rocker ( for onset of G's etc )

    x4 vibration units (simvibe)

no monitors (except for one on the wall) as I'm an early adopter of VR

Very good! Looks like it brings some of that racecar-cockpit-claustrophobia to your simming, lol.

Some really nice rigs here guys that show some serious dedication to our sim racing...

So far mine is kinda similar to yours hexa... I also have guitars lying around my rig too. :)

Not at home just now but will post a pic when I`m back though. I`m also on a single screen just now but hoping for triples soon(ish)

Cool stuff, looking forward to seeing it.
I need to see some "primitive" table/desk setups too.

I am also into ways to improve my setup, but of course money's an obstacle.

Don't think I'll ever go to triple screens though. I'm thinking the Oculus will be my thing.
I would love a real rig with a racing seat and triples, but I just don't see how I would ever afford it lol.

But I seriously need to find something decent to sit in while racing.
I'm getting all sorts of pain and weird little cramps from sitting in that lousy wooden chair, lol!

Well mine is definitely in the "primitive" category... I also sit on a wooden dinning chair although your looks like luxury to me... I only have one cushion lol... :D

Must be time to upgrade to two me thinks... :)

Nice bb... now that`s the kind of chair I could do with, might help the back problems I`m getting. :(

hehe, you can easily tell British/Australian from anybode else by deliberatelly placing with shift stick on the left :-D

Interesting thing i observed is that the very fastests guys i know of have usually the most humble setups, like Morgan Morand literally races with G27 temporarly on his PC desk with one 21-24" screen that is quite far from him and in his socks. (sort of what my "rig" looks like but hes like so much faster that in T2 i already cant see his taillights)

Cheers tjc, sorry to here about your back mate i suffer with mine from time to time, got a bad neck at the moment keeping me up at night.

Tig, i didnt like the long shifter so for now ive bodged it with some electrical tape around a bolt thats to small and its wearing off now. Its a temporary thing until i can find the right mod.
