Self View in Mirrors - Why not?

@toebee OT slightly, but wanted to point out there's no way you'd be able to see the front of your steering wheel in that mirror. The mirror works well enough, and that's cool, but it's not correct.

I don't know if this link will work, but here is a customized mirror for the stock car. Once you start moving the mirror too far back, it starts to pivot around and look forward.

Yes there seems to be a limitation of how far back you can move the mirror. Once you get to a positive number it reverses the mirror. This is why you can see the steering wheel as well as so much of the driver. What we really need is the ability to move it back farther and the ability to have more than one mirror position. The side mirrors working off the same as the middle mirror just doesn't work as well as it should.

I'd like to see a an on off switch for this in the UI. Had a play around with the settings the other day, it's OK for some cars but others are not so good.

If Studio 397 need inspiration on this, they could look at what LFS have done for the mirrors, they adjust and you can see what is behind like IRL, they are prefect.
