I wish we could select all cars installed to run a race, without limitation and without bug. There is currently a strong limitation on the number of different cars that can be selected. All cars or only a large part of the cars (all the cars of the 2000's for example) could thus be selected. Accompanied by a Nurburgring allowing at least 104 cars, the races would be exciting.
Try to go to the nords for example (example), select ALL car categories in the UI. You will find that this will bug OR all classes selected will have no car in track even if there are 100 cars on track out of 60 selected. If you have few mods in your rF2, you will not have trouble ! There is a limitation of I regret a lot. We see this limitation when we create a rfmod : There can be 100 "categories" of cars in the rfmod, you will be able to select only 30-40 of these "categories" during the creation of the race : Really a pity as limitation, especially that arrives the Nurburgring, very particular 25 km track which can accommodate IRL more than 100 cars !!
Well there is no limit of car models and that's what matters in the end. Why you'd want more than 30 categories I have no idea, Nurburgring that has a lot of classes had 20 last year. And as I said grid size is up to your processor and the track, on some rF2 will generate garage points automatically if you load more cars than garages available. Tho I think original rfactor was limited to 104 cars if I remember right, not sure if rF2 increased that,
I'm not talking about the number of cars on the track. Nor do I speak of official categories. I'm talking about the categories you find when selecting cars. Sometimes one of these categories equals 1, 2 or 3 different cars only. I think there is a problem of comprehension related to language.
@DrivingFast has no Wheel atm so i guess he entertain himself with a lot of crazy stuff. Maybe we need to chip in and get him a Wheel Before he loses it completely.
