There are several logistical problems with flat planar projection. I've been wrestling with this problem for a little while, even trying to use projection warping software to correct it.

In reality, it will never be truly correct. The best we could hope for is adjustable perspective and angle, but I think the simply adjustment along the viewpoint axis will be a great improvement.

Performance certainly takes a hit too, but that seem understandable since it's rendering three distinct viewpoints. Even crossfire 7970 have difficulty with it.

In any case, even with it's flaws, triple head video is the *shiznit*.

I would really like to try a 3 screen set up, does anyone know if you can a bezzeless monitor yet?
I don't really like the two lines separating the picture

There isn't. I've heard of people removing the bezels from their monitors though. I think 15mm is considered a very thin bezel.

    Thanks Cleverly

It's good enough to race with, but it needs to be adjustable for the different configurations out there.

3 screens with the current software is way better then one screen ;)

Thats the point, multiview cant be trully manipulated with each screen and everyone I ask say the same:

    30 fps min ~ 60 fps max

no matter what Graphic card you have. :(

I'd like to pass my vote for more adjustable settings for Multiview, something as simple as a LOD multiplier for sideviews could really boost performance

Hate to mention another title, but Assetto Corsa has implemented triple screen better than any racing sim I've seen. Not only can you change the FOV and position of the monitors while you are in the sim, but you can also put gauges, list, maps, etc. anywhere on the three screens....natively, without a plug-in.

If only it had actual racing....hehehe

+1. I'm saving for triples and would really like to see full AC style support.

@ coops - Not sure how Asus can get away with calling that frame less. Super thin maybe. Also shame its 5ms and only 60hz.

I really don't know why at least one manufacture hasn't got ahead of the rest and given us what we really want, 120hz, 2ms, true frame less and sizes larger than 27". They would make a bundle.

oh +1 on the thread request. Essential and considering competitors are offering better solutions it should be high up on the priority list.
