When I spoke to him (about 2 weeks a go admittedly) he was confident that the rF2 version would come before the AC version. Either way, I know he was VERY busy testing BOTH versions. If the rF2 version has been held up I would have to guess this is because of the level of quality he is aiming for and not releasing until it's just right. I'm fine with that.
Hi guys, I just finished with the AC version, I did it first, cause some other guys promised me, they testing the rF2 version, but unfortunately nothing happened, and now the Christmas is very-very close, and I have a lot of work, I need to overtime till Christmas and I did the same the last two week as well. So I think I can work on the rF2 version after Christmas, but I can't guarantee for you guys it will be this year. I'm sorry, but I don't want to release the mod before I think it's ready. I try to do my best
Tommy, if you need any further testers please feel free to drop me a message. Will happily take a look and help. Best, Rob
These things happen Tommy, don`t worry, take your time and get it the way you want it, it`s your mod after all. I`ll be away from my sim rig until just after Christmas but would be happy to do some testing for you then if needed. Cheers.
I can volunteer to test but come December 25th I'll not be around. Is it a general run through the paces thing, and looking for any oddities on all cars, or do you have targeted areas of focus like setup parameters or tires? I have Assetto as well though I don't know how well the handling comparison can be made given the current FFB issues.
Why haven't you asked for some testers here? I have done the taster for a lot of years in many sims and I have offered my help here to you.
I think he had some real-world drivers (that have/do drive this car) to test it. So I don't think he is ignoring offers for help.
Great job Tommy, enjoy the holidays. Still waiting to bring us good news sure that there will be a great mod for rFactor2. I'll try to test AC, if I find out how to do it ISR community wishes you Happy holidays to all. Patience is a bitter root tree but very sweet fruits.(Persian proverb)
I am curious to see it in rF2, the driving makes sense in AC and it certainly feels like an underpowered BTCC Civic.
