I planned and tested a short sprint series setup for our league using the 1.2 version and I felt that was a very good version of this mod.
However we decided to update to 1.4 before start of league. But I must say there are findings that leaves us wanting.
While the 1.2 worked very well on most tracks, the 1.4 is so far only working good on the latest Malay track from ISI and also SIlverstone. Addon tracks and others have no so little grip it is like driving in the wet even if the track is heavy rubbered down and tires heated.
I don't know what is wrong but the grip level is far far to little for these cars in rF2. Also as mentioned plenty of times, the FFB has issues. Works ok if turned to 2.5/2.7

We will most likely roll back to 1.2 for the remainder of the series, but I do hope you get to sort out the grip levels on this otherwise fantastic mod. If it is a one man job I must in any case praise the work you are doing, and this post is nothing but a bit of constructive feedback. I would try and get the grip levels to be on par with ISI Clio or Megane, even though that might not be comparable, you can still understand what I mean when I say it. I hope so anyway.

Keep up the good work Tommy, it is a really good addition to rF2..

I felt the same, that's why I add more grip in the latest version, maybe the changed something in the latest build, I don't know, I will test this on few track.

Yes, noticed a difference too, though vs the AC version (haven't tried v1.2). Let us know @Tommy78 how your test goes.

Oh, you added more grip in 1.4 than in 1.2?
Thats very weird. You sure you did not add it as negative
    Kidding.
Well, as I mentioned, I testet the entire league series with the 1.2 and it felt very good, but when the league started we updated to 1.4 and it was like driving on ice, even on a heavy rubbered in track you still could not find grip.
Personally I think, and the rest of the racers in Simjunkies.org think that 1.2 is very well balanced on power and grip. It would not hurt with a click more even, but all in all 1.2 is good, 1.4 is a bit of a mistake.

I hope you find the answer to what the issue might be.

Oh, just a quick question. Will you have to add the CPM for the tyres when that is finished, or will that be within the rF2 engine? If it is something you have to do, I surely hope you are able to when the time comes, this mod should get all the best it can get as it is very very good work.

I did a few tests after a friend told me the issues. The new engine seems to be the trouble maker sounds a bit strange, but fitting the current version with the old engine and changing back the NominalMaxSteeringTorque to 30 made the car feel as good or better than the 1.2 version. If you really "listen" to the car when driving with the new engine it seems, that it spools up so fast and the tires can't live up to that. I had the same thing when I fitted the Megane with a stronger engine just for fun. You couldnt get the car going at all, because it was spinning all the time. The new engine seems to have something in it, that makes the car awful on corner exits.
I also tried adding 8% more power and torque via GeneralTorqueMult and GeneralPowerMult and the tires and handling was still fine. But no idea what it is about the new engine as I have next to no understanding for engine modelling in rF2.

Bravo, Tommy!!! All problems fixed. Drives like a dream. A very racy, prone to oversteer dream, but that's what real FWD sports sedans are supposed to be.
