Much appreciated! Your work is of excellent quality, so we all want to see it at 100%, not 99% or 98% completion.
But what happened to the FFB? Am I the only one who has to use the multiplier at almost 2.0 to get the same FFB default settings used to have?
Oh I thought it was just me. I have next to no ffb as well, had to give up driving and check if my wheel was broken or something lol
I use 2.5, I dont know what happened, just installed the latest build on Friday, and with the default 1.0 was very weak. Maybe because of the last build, I dont know yet, so I just changed to 2.5 the multiplier.
I find your 2.5 FFB value to be much more to my liking than the default. Nice update! Just wondering, is there a way for me to make the headlights brighter? Was running a track-day at Poznan and it was very difficult for me to see anything except the cars (because of the tail lights) during the evening hours. Cheers
Maybe this is related to this Announcement? http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/24178-Headlight-intensity-changes-in-upcoming-build
Hopefully you can sort it out. There may be something else tricky going on. I can feel that you have played with the grip settings. But making sure the FFB is "proper" balance and weight at 1.0 with no use of multiplier is helpful. I don't think we are 100% sure exactly what the multiplier multiplies--it's not just the settings that affect steering weight, so adjusting the actual car for 1.0 is the only way to be sure it feels the way it is supposed to (from the author/designer's perspective).
Light ffb ok, but for me the version 1.4 feels more like nearly no ffb at all. Also it feels like the car understeers a lot more but that is maybe a bad driving style adoption because of the weak ffb.
This doesn't feel like a case of light force feedback, like was mentioned by someone else here. It feels more like close to no forces at all. The bar on the pedal overlay plug-in is almost not responding when I turn the wheel.
Thanks Tommy. Hopefully the ffb problem can be fixed up. Looking forward to the Hockenheim update too. Maybe the dark section of track leading to the stadium section could be made to look a bit lighter? I know (going by pics) it`s darker than the rest of the track in reality as it`s the drag strip section (I think) but personally I find it a bit too dark but your call obviously, just wondering...
