[REL] Seat Leon Cup Racer 2014 v1.5 Update 21th May 2015

Ok, had a very brief test with the AI driving...

All seems well but I did notice a couple of things.

The engine sounds seem very low and not quite what I was expecting. I`m not really familiar with this racing car in real life so maybe they are as they should be, just thought I`d mention it.

The drivers arms look a little strange when on full lock. Looks like they break at the wrists or maybe get a bit "tangled" up...

Will drive the mod myself tomorrow. The above points are just things I`ve noticed, not trying to be critical, just mentioning.

Black screen at high revs confirmed here too but only at tiger moth. Interlagos & Lime Rock Park were fine for me?

Also I had AI flipping off curbs at Lime Rock and Interlagos but I have no idea if that's track or mod related.

Other than that, I have loved the last hour or so driving I have had in it!!!
 
Seems to have something to do with the rev lights and the track. Around Loch Drummond if you hold the car at the red line the black screen starts just before the finish line just after then final turn and lasts for maybe half a lap before it goes away then comes back when you get back to the finish again.

Seems it has something to with the orientation of the sun. Drive away from it you get the black screen, driving towards the sun it's ok.


I noticed the RF2 version likes to tripod (use only 3 wheels) but I can't get the AC to lift a rear wheel much.

I'm also having the problem with the black screen, also the mirrors (actual physical ones not virtual) seem flicker and dissapear sometimes too.
 
Thank you Tommy, it's a great add on. I also have some of the issues listed above, the flickering and disappearing side mirrors. But most noticeable, is the AI driving too aggressively (even with lowered aggression settings), with cars flipping and crashing against each other on several tracks. Apart from that, it's very well done!
 
To echo others, not sure if engine sound is 100% accurate. The sensation is that is is not revving that high when it hits the rev limiter. The sound overall is nice, so it may just need a tweaking relative to the engine rpm.

Overall an amazing effort, though. The cars look awesome and drive very well and are not resource hogs. Only tried them in 906, so sorry if there is a 910-introduced black screen problem.

I just tried it and the sound samples are weird. The sample used at higher revs seems to be going up in pitch and then it loops. Sit at just under redline in any gear and listen to the pitch, even though the revs aren't changing, it keeps going up and up. Guess it was the best that can be done.

Yes, looks good though, good bit of fun XD

I didn't notice the black screen while I tested the car, but I used the b906. I will check today with the b910.

1. Any chance you will fix the net position in future updates?
2. May I ask if I can get permission to use the body mesh of your Leon someday for my R/C mod for rF2?

I see this too.

I'm using Sli/Multiview HDR ON & AA @ Level 4, all graphic settings are FULL apart from Shadows OFF, Shadow Blur OFF & Soft Particles, Environment & Road Reflections on LOW.
