Searspoint Track + vmod + update packaging Test Release

    The Megane & the GTWC must be up to date - I tested all 3 in game and they work as designed - plus it is full functional in the All cars & tracks mode as well - also tested in game. :)

    I think this highlights a flaw many of us have been banging on about from the start. Linking cars & tracks in the offline rfmods is just complicating what was supposed to make it simpler. The rfmod concept of mod packaging and installing is absolutely brilliant - totally and utterly a brilliant concept. However, it causes so much confusion when a third party mod (track in this instance) is at the total mercy of another person or team (ISI in this case). :confused:

    Mianiak (Michael) has to do a complete repackage and removal of ALL links due to an update by ISI. If the ISI content rfmods did not hard link to limited numbers of tracks like it does, but instead allowed ALL & ANY tracks as it was in RF1 then we wouldn't be having these sorts of issues. Now this is just ONE example - but bear in mind that the Maserati Tropheo mod is interdependent on Sears Point being installed and the knock on effect is catastrophic - consider the mess that can eventuate when we have 100 user mods, all interconnected to each other through various track and car combinations. Call me a pessimist if you want - but I am actually a glass half full guy - and I am seriously concerned. :mad:

    End of rant - thank you Michael the track looks brilliant in build 85.

    Searspoint looks very different after the Build 85 and i feel that it has more grip after the last Build!

    Here is your track in the formula ISI :) Its a 5 lap race, some mirror/shadow issues in replay but thats an rfactor bug. Very good track! Thanks for sharing :D

    I recorded the race replay, imported the onboard and recorded replay (using msi afterburner) then just made layer 1, onboard, and layer 2 the replay video, and just shrinked it to the top left corner. I used adobe premier elements 10. Getting them synced up was really hard.

    Very good. I'll buy rF2 next month, because I bought a new computer 2 days ago.

    Thank you very much, I tested yesterday, it is one of best Sears Point on which I can drive :) I bought rFactor 2 at Xmas.

    Too much text in the "description" field :rolleyes: who would have thunk it - too much information kills a game ................ he he.

    Should be a quick and easy fix, followed by a slow and troubled upload.


    This is one of my favourite tracks after all.




    Just goes to show - KISS is still relevant.

    Hi all. Great track mianiak. Just wondering if anyone is having the some thing happening or is it my settings some how.
    All the track side trees are ghosting.

    I downloaded the SearspointRW_v135_rfcmp link on P1 if that means anything.

    It doesn't make the track undriveable or anything, It's still a great track. Looks great, woks well. Good FPS.

    couple older tracks need updated to correct that.
    turning off "transparency AA=0" in your plr should fix it.

    I think I'll leave my install as is though. The trees don't stop me from using the track and don't want to alter my install from default because it will give a false impression of any cars I have installed.
    I would like to try some of those different HDR profiles but want for the same reason. I need to know exactly how things look without the game being changed in anyway.

    Man, i would love if this track gets updated sometime. Love the layout! In my opinion, this is one of the best tracks for RF2 layout wise.
