Should S397 decide to take on this mammoth task, one useful category would be league-related stuff. League skin packs are probably interesting only for people in that league, it doesn't need to appear somewhere else.
I see benefit here only for new users or fresh installs. Steam workshop is subscribe and forget action for me. After first time installation and subscribing I visit only "most recent" category. I mean it's nice but not so important imo
part of steam organization could be that when a mod is updated today you could see it at the first page or something and no need to find the info from a web page and after search it on steam. i want all the recent updated content to be at the front page of its category , for example cars - trucks. just a better view of the content.
Yes, that would be nice feature. Also it could be useful to have different color or *New label in the game for cars/tracks that haven't been "consumed" since automatic update. Like unread email. That way you don't have to go to steam to see recent updates.
What they should do is integrate the workshop into the new UI so people can add tags including #league that should be hidden by default Kinda like RaceRoom store
If the tools available on Steam allow them to, they should definitely do this! Just make the categories, we can sort our own mods into where they belong.
