Road material normal map locked?

    Is the normal map of the road material (Road Shader Two Diffuse maps) locked in its tiling and map channel?
    I see the normal map for Joeville is quite large and a different approach than the 512x512 tileable bump map I was trying to use.

    I came upon this as this has been driving me mad for a few hours now: No matter what I do, the bump map part is huge and I could not get to replicate my rF1 results with tiling or using another map channel.

    So, do we have to do normal maps on the same mapping as the base diffuse map now?

    The ISI tracks do use the diffuse map's mapping channel for the normal map, but there's no reason why this should be locked.
    I'll do some experimenting once I've managed to catch up with the forum :rolleyes: ...

    OK, looks like it IS locked to the diffuse channel. Thanks for letting us know :) .
