Hi guys, thanks for your nice feedback. I'm gonna try to put it also in the workshop. Thanks for opening the thread @bravotangosix ;)

@Heikki21 My absolute pleasure. Found the upload as mentioned above purely by accident and couldn't help myself but share the news. THANK YOU for the great conversion work. Will there be any other Patrick Giranthon tracks coming our way???

It is a wonderful work.
As far as I saw the GDB file, it seems that the coordinates / altitude, time zone etc. settings are incorrect.
It is recommended to write as follows.

Latitude = 34.149744
Longitude = -83.813024
Altitude = 261.67
TimezoneRelativeGMT = -4.0
DSTRange=(73.0, 311.0, 0, 9999)

The source material was good. Maybe that 2011 or 2012 Le Mans that was scratch-made for rFactor can peak his interest.

There is a version of that track available, go into multiplayer and jump into the GTR24H server, and the track will download. Needs a few updates, but it works. But a fully redone conversion with this quality would be pretty awesome! I saw yetisaj was still working on the final version.

Yes I know ;) one of the things I forgot, will put it in with an update, but not in the near future.
It's a great looking track. Hopefully the author will do more conversions like this.
Who knows...maybe I have already something in the make :rolleyes: but need to see if I find time and if PG is fine with that ;)

just tryed

great work Heikki21!
visually is superb.

P.S. for eventual improvements, two suggstions :
-speed limit in that long pit lane is too low (60km/h) :)
-with some "rigid" cars, like historic F1 (BT20), you feel imperfect road mesh (usually with rf1's conversions). with more soft cars no problem.
not easy but it could be great if it would be possible a future road mesh update. it that case we can have a masterpiece :)

Nice!! The AI needs some work but it's good to finally have the modern LeMans layout.
I should take a look into multiplayer more often. I wouldn't have known of that track had you not mentioned it.

BTW, great job on Road Atlanta. Tested it 2 days ago and really liked it.

Got my first crack at this and it was terrific! I will definitely have to try a night session soon. Calloway Corvette likes it!

ps. Sorry Keith, I forgot to look around pitlane. I will again soon. Blue lake-like areas are often just untextured sections that track builders ignore due to usually being out of sight. Performance can sometimes be improved by these blue areas not stressing the graphic system as does the rest of the visible track components.
