[WIP] Road America version 1.3

    MediaFire tried to also insert some malware(malsign.optimizer.6a0) when I was downloading the track. AVG caught it...but a nasty surprise none-the-less.
    And it won't load either. grmble. I get a Crash back to Steam when I try and load SCES Road America 1.3

    Road America 1.41

    David Driver, Dennis Grebe and I are proud to present the new version of the track. A lot of work has gone into the track, but it's not 100% complete yet. With steam workshop, we can quickly make fixes and add new things, with just a small download on your end.

    Known Issues:
    AIW is not great
    Wet weather reflections not finished
    Static reflections not finished

    Changed:
    made front stretch dip and rise a bit at the end
    made the road bumpy at the tunnel(between t1 and t2)
    Changed terrain down back stretch
    Changed terrain around kart track
    Added the dirt ramp near the kart track
    Detached the inside of the carousel and subdived it a lot and applied new terrain shader
    Added railroad tracks to the back of the track
    Added a hill outside of T2
    New verges, decals instead of parts of the grass gmts
    Hill inside T7 changed
    Added hill outside Canada Corner
    Added path down the inside of the back straight
    Modified the corvette bridge
    Modified hill to the right of corvette bridge
    Modified hill inside t7
    Modified terrain between t5 and t6
    Made hill behind Canada corner higher
    Made path inside thunder valley
    Moved garage in the pits
    Added RV parking in T1
    Added wider section of road on backstretch
    Removed some of the dirt road behind T6
    Added seats on right side of track before T6
    Added road near track entrance
    Added fence posts outside T8
    Added fence behind T6
    Added fence behind bike chicane
    Added paved run-off in T1
    Merged in Sunoco sign, garbage can, camera stand, picnic table, radio mast, small stands
    Added stairs going up the hill at Canada Corner
    Added fenced in area between pit in and track
    Merged in tire wall(too high poly? Also merged in lower poly one)
    Added armco wall at T6 exit
    Fixed some terrain gaps
    Extended wall and fence near start finish line
    Added highway "J" and terrain behind it
    Added new entrance from highway "J"
    Added more terrain behind t2/carrousel
    Added more terrain down back stretch
    Added correct north direction in gdb(90)
    Adjusted terrain inside carrousel
    Fixed BB tree pivots
    Added fence before T5 to protect marshal
    Added more bumps to front stretch and pit exit
    Last turn runoff behind curb a bit wider

    That's It? just a thousand or so changes/improvements/additions/corrections? lol! LOoking forward to this. Thanks for making it Steam Compliant as well!

    I installed the track via the Steam Workshop, it shows up in the menus. However it crashes back to Steam prior to completing the load. I've tried a full pack and just 1 car and even 1 ISI Howston, still no joy. I had the same problem with v1.3. I've only been able to get v1.011 to load(from another site).

    Does that happen with any other track? Can you try going to rFactor 2\UserData\Log\CBash and deleting anything that says ROADAMERICA_FULL.

    It hasn't happened with other tracks that I know of. I've been able to load 3 different versions of Le Mans, and a previous version of Road America(I've got quite a few 3rd party tracks both from Steam and other sites, none crash like this is doing.} There is a RoadAmerica_Full file but I can't read it. All that comes up with Wordpad or text pad is )#*@__)*(&E#WE Gibberish. Lots and lots of it. Is there a utility to read those cbash files? THe mas editor wants to look for rcmf extensions, not cbash.

    Delete the cbash and rbash and it generates new ones, there might be a problem with them.

    Deleted those AND the two for RoadAtlantic,just in case the similar names were causing a conflict. But no, still locks up. I did try something different and did not close out the error message box to see if the sim could continue and finish the load, but after several minutes, it was clear that no further progress was occurring. Then I went one step further and deleted all the cbash and rbash files. Still couldn't get the track to load past the same spot on the progress bar. Finally loaded up another track just to ensure the cars were sound.
