Before I reinstalled the game from scratch, when I right clicked a mas file there was an option called "Extract" which would automatically create a new folder with the contents of the mas inside.

I don't see that option now after reinstalling so I have to do it manually in the mas2 editor. Any idea how to enable it again?

    Thanks

Extract the zip and place the extract.exe in ...rFactor 2\Core
Then double click on it to install.

I did as you said, got a pop-up window saying "Setup complete" after double clicking, even restarted Windows after that but still can't see "Extract" when right clicking a mas file. Any idea why?

    Do you have Win10?
Does it works with rfcmp files?

I can't quite remember how it transpired (the tool no longer extracting MAS files) but there was a good reason to stop it. Enough said I think.

Closing this thread as it is a question about a third party tool which is better asked directly to its author as we can't support such tools.
