Hmm, a wet track seems only explanation. Weather mod was accidentally turned on for that server, so wet track is possible. Or damp at least. That was 6 months ago, but I don't remember seeing reflections. Need to do more testing.
It has been awhile since I have had to reinstall rFactor2 Weather Tool I need help with the Weather Server ini file. My dedi server is : F:\rfactor2-dedicatedf1\ Where can I find the folder and the path mentioned below ? // The directory where GDB/AIW will be extracted GDBExtractPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\Plugins\TrackMap\Tracks
Thanks, solved it last month (but cannot remember how ) but will make a note of your advice for the future !
@krusti If you download the last version of the XML file (cloud community file) on the first page, I believe there is a key in place.
Guys, what's your experience with the real weather import into the simulation? We have set it up for our servers, but in the last time it is raining very often although there is no rain for the station on weather underground.
Hi everyone I have a dedicated server, no GUI, on which rfactor2 runs and I would like to insert this fantastic tool. I have done several tests, but not being able to launch .exe, I do not know how to set the plugin only via FTP. On my pc, in local server test, tool works great, but i able to launch weatherserver.exe Can anyone help me?
I've already asked him, but at the moment he's very busy and a bit unmotivated when it comes to further developing or modifying his tool. But he didn't generally say no.
Even if WU api is not available for this plugin, is there anybody who has a wrfile ? because I've deleted mine so I cant remember how is made the content of those files? replaying wrfile in Weather Tool should still work. Thanks !
