I agree. I don't have a problem with the level of visibility, but actual spray effect itself looks very basic. There were better spray effects in GTR Evo. Tim did say they know there is work to do, so maybe we shouldn't be so quick to judge, but seeing the new spray with everything set to max was quite a shock. Not sure how long this current effect has been worked on?
I wonder if some of these complaints are people running the sim in amounts of rain that NO race would ever be allowed to run in. If people are trying to race in Hurricane Katrina then what do they expect?
I agree, the spray boundaries are too well defined - especially where the spray joins the rear of the car. The visibility seems great though, so the rain system has some promise. Future updates should be good
in the "tuning" section of the car (on selection) the graphic is with heavy satin effect Only to me ? Ok little problem.. only for the room -- tuning, but i hope this isn't a particular that can affects the overall graphic.
The spray effect has potential but as others have said it's pretty poor at the moment. It looks really odd. I'm not sure if the spray hangs in the air too long as such, I think it doesn't dissipate as it should. Also the effect looks silly at very low speed - driving at 25mph I was still seeing a thick plume of spray.
please help!!.i made a fresh install 156, update with auto update ,copied my old package files to the package folder, with all the new content.start rf2 and start manage mod.noting happens.i cant install mods.what's going wrong?
This time I did a fresh install, took no more than 10min, everything runs as a clock now. Btw new Mod Manager really makes the difference than the old one, installing mods is a piece of cake now, ty ISI.
Start the sim. I have great fun showing rF2 to all my visitors, they enjoy a lot, want to try, you can play, share, enjoy together! Saying that, I feel sorry for you... Did you try having noisy gazes?
Auto updater worked for me Took a couple of attempts but that could of been due to high traffic volume
Cheers for new build.. @ISI...we now need a way from server side to enforce rain spray...if some run it and others don't the advantage is to great this is way more of an unfair advantage possiblilty than "enforce cockpit"
Isn't there some file you can edit to get the smoke to wrap around the car? Can't the same be used for the rain for those using cockpit view?
