rFactor2 Build 198 Released

I am also getting the same error when using the auto update.

Question:TIM, can i upload it from running rfactor2.exe, right?

 

I like spray effect to see from track cams, but I'm testing with a friend online, Corvette/Malasya... Lights on, 100Km/h, 40 metters of distance between cars, and my screen is absolutely GRAY, isn't difficult to see, It's impossible. I think the effect is exagerated, or bad implemented (I can't see my own cockpit becuase the car is invisible for spray), I'm going to test again with more conditions, but this is the only thing I'm feeling really bad since I bought rF2...

I know that in rain conditions is hard to drive, but now in rF2 is impossible, 0 vision.

 

This is brilliant! Makes racing in the rain all the better. Once we get rain and dust sticking on windshields it will be a guilty pleasure to put a wheel off the drying line when opponents are close behind.

Not sure if this has been asked, but is there any chance of a manual update download link?

 

And like I said in the other thread, the slightest glitch in this weeks release and ....

 

nice to have the rainspray now, but I dont think that it is in real so long behind the car like in rfactor2. It looks like the spray is going to end like 1Km behind the car.

get it now? its not perfect but it IS close to REALITY just as JENSON BUTTON a full time REAL FORUMLA ONE driver states in that video....DEAL WITH IT!

 

And of course race got stopped before it got any worse.

 

I have a little newbie question tho.

I have already downloaded and installed Malaysia, Lime Rock, Corvette, Marussia, Clio. So shall I just download this build as Lite or the whole Gb version? (I understand that in my case the Lite would do it as I already have those cars/tracks/mods, just to make sure)

I would really think if its in the game it would have a reason to be like it is.

 

I uninstalled rf2 and reinstalled the 'Lite' version & loading up as normal now.

 

So we don`t need wet reflections any more cause we don`t see them

Auto updater is too slow, I will not have any time at all to try this new build today I guess I have to download the full lite installer and uninstall old one.
