Well I must admit I was hoping that some "big thing" we were hoping for might be in ISI's Xmas stocking. But hey, any update is always welcome. No problems so far with this one. Updated fast and installed with no issues. Still have to try most cars and tracks so off I go to do just that.
Could it be there are two versions; the 133 and the 134? I see a lot of people here are having 133, while I'm having 134....... Did the update through the launcher btw. I can't connect to a 133 server........
Humm... I downloaded the 134 update and full install. Both say 133 on my dedi and it just ran a race with 27 people NP.
Trying to auto update and it wants logon details , where do I find my login , I have so many user name password for other things I cant remember what it is , Ive been through my email receipts for the game and nowhere does it give my login details its just says login and start racing , even in the forum settings it doesnt tell you your login details for the forum , anybody know how to find out my login details . Thanks
Ok... quick feedback. Haven`t done many laps at all but everything seems to be sweet, so far. Did a complete fresh install as I always do and have found no major problems but have found a couple of old ones. There still seems to be quite a lot of tyre smoke/brake locking from the Clio`s, not as much as before but it still seems to be a bit ott imo and this is not just in replay, it`s when actually driving them too. As I say, not as much maybe but it`s still (a lot) more than seems to happen in real life imo. They also seem to be one of the only cars that leave long skid marks on track... long but with gaps in between if you follow me. Also noticed the missing hotel at Monaco is still present in this build... pity about that but I can live with it for now. So far, with only a very quick test, everything else seems to be as it was in b125 but there could be bugs or improvements that I`ve not come across yet I suppose. Anyway, good to have a new build for the holidays... even if I will be away for some of that time.
The ID in the dedi exe just probably wasn't updated to 134. It shouldn't stop you connecting, all versions should be that way. If not, can you let me know? Thanks.
The forum login is nothing to do with rFactor2. Your login will be whatever you set it up as, and the same as the forum, if you forget, ask it to be sent to you. With rF2 go to the purchase tab, and follow instruction.
Just been told this is missing from the notes: Improved cut-track detection near pit entrance and exit So if you are noticing a difference there, now you know why.
