Hi I am having an issue every time I play rfactor sometimes after installing mod and try and play rfactor on steam the game lags during a race and becomes unplayable with the AI cars starting to jump. It happens with the F1 2017 mod and the Group C Mod. I try and change to one of the pre installed content cars and the same thing happens again. I scan the game files on steam and it finds the effected file and it replaces it. I restart the computer, start the game again and the same thing happens. Think it is game related not my PC as I have an Nvidia GTX 1,500 series and an I7 processor on my laptop. Can anyone help please it's really annoying? Thanks.

Hi Peter would you be able to fix it please if I gave you my PC specs I don't have a lot of time at the moment to be looking through threads as I am writing my Master dissertation. Rfactor has been a bit of break for me from studying. My spec are Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti i7-7700hq CPU @ 2.80 GHZ 16GB Ram System 64 bit 1 tb hard drive And 225 ssd Many thanks Mike
Well the problem can be complicated and there might be no easy 1-click fix. Please press CTRL+C when youre on track and drive around. Make a screenshot or report what you see in the upper right corner. There are two bars, one purple one green. Report how far they reach. I bet puprple bar is full, what means that processor power is too low. Not necessarely due to bad CPU but it may have other reasons. We must evaluate and investigate that then. Edit: I must admit that searching in this forum or better said finding the right thread is a pain in the ***.
Think it may be the speedometer for the F1 1988 mod interfering with the game. I have deleted it. Don't know if anyone has had the same issue
Fixed it let Nvidia control panel look after the graphics setting for the game rather than rfactors graphics.
