Hi all Can I ask a silly question(can u ask a silly question?) I know rfactor2 is on going game with updates and all that stuff But what makes you think, right we need Rfactor3 to start in production Is it when u kind of run out of ideas on rfactor2 then think we can start again (not "again" but hope u know what I mean)in RF3 Or is like technology ( when everyone can run rf2 at max settings) Do u already have ideas for rf3 Loving RF2 still,keep up the great work Cheers
I think it is the modeling behind the physics that will start any rF3 project. The rF2 tire model and RealRoad are what really separate rF2 from rF1 and computer technology progressed to the point where it was feasible to implement those physics. It will take a similar jump in computing power or a breakthrough in physical modeling before we see rF3. A significantly new graphics algorithm might similarly be reason for an rF3.
