As you can see above CPU#0, CPU#2, CPU#4, CPU#6, CPU#8 and CPU#10 are I7 8700k physical cores. Pic above show`s that that rF2 is using 32% CPU#0 and 84% CPU#2 > one core to physics and one core to graphics, sound... = true dual core support.

while i agree with you that physics are on 1 thread for player which to me seems like thread 3 (msi count), perhaps as per dev blog shadows are pushed to another core. i hope you are not alt tabing when looking at utilization either as that skews things from my experience.

I have the same scenario as @stonec there is clearly more then 2 cores at work. yes windows scheduler is shuffling things around with other 4 logical cores of mine, but you can see clearly at any given time 4 physical cores are doing some work.

i would be nice if the Devs can shine some light on the core situation as imo it has changed atleast from DX9 builds.

Funny, yet rF2 somehow managed to separate them since day one with one graphics thread and one for physics. Maybe this is why iRacing FFB feels a bit crappy and is still 60 Hz.

Indeed, I7 3770k, CPU4 is graphics and CPU2 is physics.PC is running silky smooth without any issues and so do my I7 8700k PC also.

just to add further to this discussion, when enabling aggressive threading option, it seems this push cores 1 to 100% and lightens the load of all other cores, this would tie into what S397 originally stated when this suits older processors.

    I7 3770k. CPU load 1 core +-90%

I7 4770k seem to have better utilization, CPU load 1 core +- 50%

    I7 8700k. CPU load 1 core +- 90%

ave u checked ur GPU usage GPU1 and GPU 2 states that they are being utilized 100% so i came to know how much power would it use while msi afterburner it will definitely worn out graphic card one day people will see drastic changes in their graphic card theere nothing like overcloaking that i consider
