goes for 304 euros
i suggest got for 6 or 8 giga to be future proof
i have 4 giga RX 580 but seems newer games always demand more
so really start thinking for a lot of memory 6 or 8
i dont suggest 4 but even if you buy 4 giga you ll be fine in every game until today and of course RF2

 

I have this Motherboard already installed with my existing system which also includes the GTX 690 and i7 3770k....thanks for the info though

 

Is there any overclock tutorial for 4790k that anyone here suggest? (fot noobs)

Or is there any site which i inform my pc parts and title i would like to play and it give me hints if overclocking is needed??

 

Try searching in You Tube or Google it....as a noob myself I tried to overclock my CPU previously with the proper ASUS software that came with my Motherboard...NEVER AGAIN....as I corrupted the BIOS and lost all Harddrive function....so I would proceed with caution when overclocking anything....just my personal opinion and thinking out loud...lol

its safe but since did no made any fps performance test before changes, cannot say about the eficiency

 

...that was disappointing...I had a performance increase with the 'Nvidia Control Panel' tweaks this You Tube creator did....see a previous post.

 

As blunt to put this, usually these video's are nothing but snake oil. unless you have a real old computer and literally don't know how to clear hard disk space / know basic tasks, your not going to see any improvement. windows detects processor and priority fine and any registry tweaks or other tweaks specifically in windows 10 home edition usually revert back after a windows update has its way. these tweaks in most cases do nothing. however if you have stuttering sometimes disabling GAMEDVR and power profiles can help.

Nvidia control panel settings may make a difference by degrading quality etc but i'm sure the official stances from ISI at least was not to play around with profile specific AA or settings?

 

To me also, i don´t think lowering the quality is really a tweak, but closing unecessary stuff (setting priorites, automatic cleanups, etc) from Windows is Always a good thing

 

I did not saw any tweaks in that video. That was simple stuff by disabling anti aliasing

 

Thanks for the reply...for me anyway I changed about 80% of the settings in that 'Nvidia Control Panel' video and it made a noticeable difference on my PC...did not try the Win10 Tweaks Video as above posted by 'Louis' as I still have Win7...lol

 

I disagree, sort of.

On Assetto Corsa, CPU occupancy message pops up on AMD FX cpus, when you race with 24 AI or so. I don't know how previous generation of Intel CPUs fare.

Of course to some extent extra cores can help (some games will use more than others, and background tasks can be run on cores the game isn't using) but it's a good base. Older AMD definitely isn't as strong.

 

Note that in my understanding rF2 uses multiple threads to prepare shadows (and possible does some other scene setup), so going six core might be beneficial in a long run. It isn't just about single thread performance anymore, although I agree that's important.

rF2 uses two physical cores. It does not mater if you have 4 or 10 physical cores regarding use of threads.

I don't know if we've ever been provided hard numbers (as much as that's possible) but the suggestion since switching to Dx11 is that more cores are in use.

 

Even before the performance Update, switching from 2 to 4 cores ended in a performance increase, so no Rfactor 2 doesn't use only 2 cores

 

Come on guys rF2 uses two physical cores. Only few games has true quad core support and rF2 is not one of them.
